Overview

Polar Technology Management Group is an engineering business that delivers solutions to companies across automotive, motorsport, medical, aerospace, defence and energy markets. The group encompasses two brands – SST Technology and Lentus Composites– that operate out of its factory complex in Oxfordshire.

Polar Technology design, develop and manufacture products based on complex metallic tubular fabrications, polymer and ceramic composites, multi-axis machining and additive layer manufacturing. Specifically, Lentus Composites produces composite components and complex engineering assemblies where the composite elements are the enabling technology within the wider system; while SST Technology manufactures engineered precision fabrications and thermal management systems for high tech industries and harsh environments.

This is how we help Polar Technology

• LOLER examinations – we regularly carry out LOLER examinations (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) on all Polar Technology’s lifting equipment.
• LEV examination (COSHH) – local exhaust ventilation systems (LEVs) that are used with hazardous substances must be thoroughly inspected on a regular basis to protect the health of workers in these environments – which is what we do for Polar Technology, carrying out extensive LEV testing onsite.
