• Hutcheon Examination Services Ltd carries out local exhaust ventilation system examinations.


• Examinations are carried out using a variety of techniques and incorporate the use calibrated testing equipment.


• Enclosures, hoods, ducting, booths and fume cupboards are examined and reports issued to comply with the CoSHH regulations.


• The engineer surveyor carrying out the LEV examination will hold the proficiency certificate (P601) in initial appraisal and thorough examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation systems. The P601 certificate is awarded by the Britich Occupational Hygiene Society which is nationally recognised as the basis of competency. P601 Register


• Spray booth clearance time tests are carried out using smoke and a report supplied along with a clearance time warning notice.
