We provide impartial, independant, thorough Engineering Examinations on a wide variety of Plant across the UK and the Channel Islands.

Our examination service will enable clients to fulfill their statutory obligations and conform with the requirements of :- LOLER, PUWER, PSSR and CoSHH.

To comply with regulations our reports will be produced in a timely, professional format and can be delivered as paper reports, digital disc or secure email.

Hutcheon Examination Services uses a bespoke reporting and management system called Prime. Prime is an Internet based system allowing our engineers access anywhere in the world via the Internet. Prime is supplied to a number of our larger clients and brokers which allows them to view plant schedules, examination dates and print or email reports of examination. For our larger clients this eliminates the need to physically handle paper reports.

All necessary documentation is available to our clients; Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Health and Safety policies etc. It is becoming increasingly common for these documents to be requested prior to the site visit.

Engineer Surveyors who operate plant and equipment will hold the suitable competency certificate or licence, i.e. IPAF licence for access equipment.

Our Engineer Surveyors are all qualified (IEng), experienced in their specialist fields and flexible in their work routine.

Although examinations are compulsary, we aim to make compliance as painless as possible.
